Ongoing design support
What this is for
If you're the kind of organization that needs a steady stream of design work, updated graphics for a campaign, new pages as your programs grow, refreshed materials for a new initiative. One-off projects don't fit your rhythm, and hiring in-house isn't realistic.
This is for an ongoing relationship instead: a set number of hours, used however you need them, month to month.
How it works
We start with a conversation about what you actually need each month. From there, we set a fixed number of hours — typically 10 to 30 hours per month — at a discounted rate compared to one-off projects. Unused hours don't roll over, so we scope realistically.
Pricing here isn't a flat number, it's worked out per relationship, because what makes sense for you might not makes sense for someone else, and I want the flexibility to meet you where you are.
What it costs
Most organizations start between $400–$1,200/month, depending on volume. If that range doesn't fit, let's talk — I offer sliding scale for select projects.
What you can use hours for
Web graphics, social media assets, print materials, presentation design, light video graphics, photo editing, or any other visual work I offer.
Not sure if this is different from Webmaster Services?
Webmaster Services keeps your site technically running: hosting, security, backups, updates. Design Retainer is creative work: the actual design and content of what you're putting out into the world.
Many clients use both together, as they cover completely different things.
